Thai dessert or Kha Nom Wan Thai is very delicious and smells very good. There are many kinds of Thai dessert and all of them have beautiful design and colors. Thai people like to use banana leaf (Bai Tong) to warp the dessert and they also use natural ingredient for food coloring.

These pretty little desserts are shaped into mini Thai fruits and vegetables like mangos, chilis and mangosteens. The process of making them is uncommonly labor-intensive and it requires grinding steamed mung beans into a sweet paste, shaping them, dipping them in food coloring, and glazing them in gelatin. No wonder this dessert was only available for the royals back in the day.

3. Khao Neow Sang Kaya (Sticky Rice with Custard)


This Thai dessert consists of sweet sticky rice topped with a slice of creamy custard. It’s rilling, rich, and delicious.

4. Chor Muang

8. Bua Loy Kai wan (Sweet Eggs Desert)



It is a Thai traditional dessert, made in rice flour and sweet egg. Balls are pre-cooked in the boiling water, warm up the coconut milk and sugar until it gets boiled and it is ready to serve!

9. Kloy Tod


Battered and deep fried bananas into a crispy crunch are hard to dislike. They are slightly sweet, but crunchy and delicious.

10. Thai coconut ice cream


It’s coconut infused Thai style ice cream topped with roasted peanuts and usually served in a coconut shell.
